Following the refresh of the ION brand, the next stage was codifying the style into guidelines, which would be the first set of guidelines in ION’s history.

The task and my contribution
The task was to create comprehensive brand guidelines to act as a reference point for all aspects of design and marketing. My role was to lead the production and curation of the document.
Production
The guidelines would cover both visual and written communication aspects and include:
Core brand guidelines
Academic guidelines
Marketing material
Example assets
The guide was to be structured so each section could be viewed separately or as a whole, and it would be produced in print, as well as being available digitally to all staff and external contractors.
