Highlights is a critically acclaimed, global, dance show performed by the artists Lauren Byrne and Emma Martin. For the UK leg of the tour, taking place at Wandsworth Fringe Festival, I was approached by Lauren Byrne to brand the event.

The brief requested the branding reflect the use of glitter as a prop, the intimate proximity of the audience around the stage and the contemporary nature of the dance routine. The final image would go on to be printed at various sizes, from ticket stubs to A1 size.

Having seen snippets of the performance, the solution was to use glitter as the dress for the performers and have the show’s name extrude towards the audience, to draw them in. This reflected the sinuous, light-intense, and forward-thinking nature of the dance.
